To the East are the
Maritime Provinces of Canada, so Maine has the distinction of being
the eastern most state in the Union. So Eastern Maine is as
far as you can go ... East.
The lighthouse at West Quoddy Head is located
at a State Park which is a favorite hiking and camping site for the
people
of Maine.

This part of Maine is home to much of Maine's
salmon aquaculture industry. These floating net pens are
between Eastport, Maine and Campobello Island, New Brunswick.
