Onward Application Checklist

Things you will need to send to the Onward Program:

___ Completed UMaine application (excluding essay portion and application fee)

___ Onward personal statement

___ Onward reference list

Things you may need others to send to the Onward Program:

___ 3 Letters of recommendation

___ Official high school transcripts or GED scores

___ Official transcripts from all colleges you have previously attended

Other Important Tasks:

___ Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible, but after January 1st.

Complete the FAFSA online at:

www.fafsa.ed.gov

This does not affect whether you can test. These things must all be received before you can take the Onward placement test.
