Support Onward Students

Most Onward Program students depend on financial aid to help them pay for their college education. These days, financial aid often doesn't fill the gap after the student's contribution to the cost of education.

You can help assure that Onward students can complete their college education by contributing directly to the University of Maine Foundation and specifying that your gift is for the Onward Program, or by giving to the Jerry Ellis Scholarship Fund.

The Jerry Ellis Scholarship Fund was established at the University of Maine Foundation in honor of Gerald C. Ellis, Director of the University of Maine College Success Programs, for his 33 years of dedicated service to the Onward Program. Earnings from the fund will provide scholarship support for students enrolled in the Onward Program at the University of Maine.
