Immunizations
Send or fax a copy of your immunization records to
Cutler Health Center as soon as possible; you may also bring them with
you to orientation, but we recommend that you either send or fax them
before you come. You cannot begin classes without them! Maine
state law requires that all full-time, and degree-seeking part-time,
university students born after 1956 show proof of adequate immunization
against measles (rubeola), mumps, rubella, diphtheria and tetanus. Proof
of immunization can be dropped off at orientation, mailed or faxed to
Cutler Health. They may also be dropped off during Fall Welcome Weekend
at the Community Welcome Fair. Course registration cannot be completed until Cutler
Health Center has verified proof of immunization. For more information
visit:
www.umecut.maine.edu
or call 207-581-4005, fax 207-581-3997. Mailing address: 5721 Cutler
Health Center, The University of Maine, Orono, ME 04469-5721.
