This 1992 publication is a major revision of the handbook printed in 1980. This publication serves as an excellent reference for producers, extension staff, consultants, industry field staff, students and others interested in potato production. Basic information about the crop has been incorporated into the following chapters: Introduction; Marketing & Economics; Potato Varieties; Growth Requirements of the Potato; Selecting, Storing, Preparing and Planting Seed; Growing the Crop; Harvesting the Crop; and Storage. The statistical data is now outdated, however the basic information is still valuable.
