Silo Seven is one of our favorite places in Bangor.

Silo Seven is now located at 118 Harlow Street in downtown Bangor, across the street from the Bangor Public Library!

Silo Seven is a wonderful bookstore that also carries many supplies, including a large variety of crystals and stones, candles, candle holders, chalices, incenses, incense burners, small cauldrons, oils, oil burners, sage sticks, herbs, mortar and pestles, glass jars, tarot cards, rune stones, I-Ching coins, pendulums, feather pens, and special inks. They also have many other items, such as jewelry, altar cloths, drums and other musical instruments, wind chimes, CDs, bags & pouches, bumper stickers, pins, journals, calendars, and day planners.

Silo Seven hosts many classes and workshops, and serves as an advertising/networking location for local groups and practitioners of alternative healing and holistic wellness. They also have a nice tea and coffee area with some couches where people can sit down and meet.

Recently, Silo Seven has greatly increased its stock of herbs and other natural health and healing supplies. They now carry a variety of herbs in bulk containers where you can purchase nearly any amount you need, similar to the Natural Living Center.

Silo Seven got its unusual name from its original location, the 7th building in the Bomarc Industrial Park. Those buildings had been converted from old missile silos.
