Once you have printed the form, fill in all the
information and return it to the Parking and Transportation Services - Rm 523,
University of Maine, 5702 DTAV Community Building, Orono, ME
04469-5702.
The Step 1 Appeal Form affords you the
opportunity to submit a written appeal. You must fill out a
separate form for each violation that you wish to appeal. It will
be evaluated by the Parking and Transportation Services Appeal Hearing Officer and
you will be notified of the decision by mail. Upon receipt of this
notification, you may choose to pursue step 2 of the appeal
process if you feel that the decision of your step 1 appeal was
unreasonable or arbitrary, or not supported by appropriate.
Should the outcome of your appeal be in your
favor, the amount of the parking violation will be refunded to you
through the Bursar's Office.
