About PEAC
The members of PEAC are elected for
two-year terms and are apportioned according to the number of
professionals in each of the Vice-Presidential units and the Presidents
office. The council meets the second Tuesday of every Fall and Spring
Semester month from 8:30 am to 10:00 am at the University Club, Fogler
Library. All meetings are open to Professional Staff. Please contact
contact Michael Swartz

As a new professional employee, the
PEAC membership welcomes you to The University of Maine Professional
Staff. PEAC exists to encourage, facilitate and contribute to
collegiality among the professional staff and administration at The
University of Maine. We organize professional development activities,
nominate colleagues to University Committees, organize ways to
communicate relevant topics applicable to professional staff, and we
work to resolve non-bargaining issues that are relevant to professional
employment.
