Relationships

Tips for healthy dating
Be patient.
Keep your options open. The person you least expect just might be the right one for you!
Be realistic. Don't expect too much from people. At the same time, don't expect too little.
Take your time. There's no reason to rush things.
Don't become sexually active too quickly. Again, why rush?
Don't mesh your identity with your partner's. Be yourself. He/she should like you for
who you really are.

Long distance relationships
Be respectful, honest and trusting with your partner and yourself.  Don't jump to conclusions too quickly. Talk about what you're feeling.

Frequent communication is key. Send a random package in the mail, e-mail daily, call during a busy day just to say hello.

Bond! Get to the emotional intimacy stage where you feel you can talk about anything and you're willing to share things with each other. Play the questions game - ask questions like "If in this situation, what would you do?" and "What's one of your best childhood memories?"

Laugh a little! It's easy to misinterpret or misunderstand your partner's words or actions when in a long distance relationship. Learn to have a sense of humor when things aren't how they first appeared.
