Living on Campus

Ooze Ball Tourney Participants Student Fitness Center


All residence halls:

  • Are tobacco-free
  • Have the expectation for quiet study time
  • Include Internet and cable TV access
  • Have phone jacks available
  • Have common features:
    • study lounges
    • recreational areas
    • laundry rooms
    • vending areas
  • Offer shared, single-gender bath facilities located on each floor or section. The number of bathrooms varies in proportion to the number of residents who share them.
  • Remain open during October and Thanksgiving breaks.

Handicap accessible rooms are provided in Knox and Estabrook Halls

Typical apartment in DTAV

Suite-style halls—including the Baumann-Nelson, Chandler, Lown and Smith houses, and Patch Hall—offer housing for upperclass students in four to six-person suites (depending on the house). Residency is by application only and is dependent on grade point average.

DTAV and Patch Hall Suites:

  • Are tobacco-free
  • Have fully furnished kitchens, bath and living rooms
  • Have the expectation for quiet study
  • Include Internet and cable TV access
  • Have phone jacks available
  • Have common features:
    • study lounges
    • recreational areas
    • laundry rooms
    • vending areas
  • Provide continuous housing is available during semester break and spring break for those residents who register and pay the additional Break Housing fee.
  • Offer handicapped accessible suites
