Room Access
Persona Locks All First Year student dorms are outfitted with Persona Locks. Persona Locks require the user to swipe their MaineCard and enter a PIN number to gain access to their private room. Entry to all residence halls also require a MaineCard and PIN number. If a student loses his/her MaineCard it should be reported to the Student Service Center in Memorial Union where a replacement card may be obtained. This link will open in a new window. If a student is having trouble with his/her Persona lock, please contact Technology Management at 207-581-4371 to report the problem. Keys Keys, as necessary, are issued to each resident. Keys must be returned when a room change takes place and at the time of clearance. At checkout, room clearance paperwork must be completed and keys returned to the Resident Assistant or Community Coordinator. Keys are not to be duplicated, loaned or left in residence hall mailboxes. Lost keys should be reported to your Resident Assistant or Community Coordinator immediately.
