Bio: Dr. Smagula received
his B.S. degree in 1965 from Rutgers. He received his M.S. degree in
1967 and his Ph.D. degree in 1973 from UMASS-Amherst. He joined the
faculty in 1973 and is a Professor of Horticulture.
