Welcome to Student Recreation and Fitness Center

UMaine’s $25 million Student Recreation and Fitness Center has become a community hub for the campus as well as for the surrounding towns.

Ours is one of the first college recreation centers to receive the Silver level of LEED certification by the U.S. Green Building Council. LEED Certification distinguishes building projects that have demonstrated a commitment to sustainability by meeting the highest performance standards.
