UMaine's new Student Recreation and Fitness Center is open.
Below is a video timeline of the center's construction, with the August
2007 video offering the most detailed look yet at one of the most
impressive new facilities on campus.
Ours will be one of the first college recreation
centers to apply for the Silver level of LEED certification by the
U.S. Green Building
Council. LEED Certification distinguishes building projects that
have demonstrated a commitment to sustainability by meeting the highest
performance standards.

Campus Recreation.
Regular hours are:

Monday -Thursday: 5:00 a.m. to midnight

Friday: 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to 9:00
p.m.

Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 10:00
p.m.
- During breaks and holidays, hours
change.
