"I love California. I love how beautiful it is and I heard that Maine is gorgeous--in the summer and in the winter--and I wanted to see what it was like. My friend and I looked up places that had rolling admissions, that were fairly inexpensive and compared to other schools. The University of Maine is one of the lower cost schools for out of state students. The school is great. The teachers are really helpful. Like with the business school, they actually care one-on-one. I'll sit down with my professors and we'll talk for hours. I feel like I've been in class with everyone--from freshmen year just taking the Gen. Eds. to business courses. You get to know a lot of people. There's a huge sense of community."
