Dear Retiree,
As an employee, you
contributed to the success of The University of Maine. In recognition of
that contribution, you were presented with a Facilities and Events Pass
which is commonly known as the "Gold Card."
The Gold Card offers you a
free parking permit, use of the Fogler Library, visits to the
Planetarium, and all public lectures on campus.
The Gold Card entitles you
to one "20-Use Athletic Facilities Pass" per year, which may be used for
public skating at the Alfond Arena, public swimming at the Wallace Pool,
use of the Gym facilities/Fitness Center, and use of the Field House.
The Gold Card entitles you
to attend all performance by the School of Performing Arts held on
campus and reserved through the Maine Center for the Arts.
The Gold Card will enable
you to attend, free of charge, up to six athletic events, OR
up to four performances at the Maine Center for the Arts, for the
period September 1, 2006 through May 31, 2007.
The Gold Card and its
privileges are not transferable.
