Staying Safe After Dark
October 7, 2010 The Weekly newspaper published an article in the Senior Beat column by Carol Higgins Taylor about staying safe while walking after dark:
The Eastern Area Agency on Aging is sponsoring a program to get reflective safety vests out to senior citizens. They ask for a ten dollar donation, 100 percent of which goes directly to the cost of the vest, but if you are unable to pay they do have sponsorships available. You may order one by sending a check to EAAA, 450 Essex St. Bangor, ME 04401 ATTN: Vest Dressed for Safety. Be sure to include your mailing address and your size: S/M, L/XL or 2XL/3XL.
