Residence Life is seeking applicants
for the Resident Assistant (RA) position for anticipated openings
beginning Fall 2010.

General Information:
Resident Assistants fill an important role in the establishment
of a safe, involved, inclusive, and scholarly community at the
University of Maine. The RAs most important role is to
facilitate the development of community within the floor and
throughout hall. A strong RA invests significant time in
addressing the needs of their community. The RA position is a
partnership with other campus resources to provide services and
support to students while simultaneously providing leadership
opportunities for individual students.
Eligibility
- 2.50 GPA for current semester
- 2.50 GPA cumulative
- Carrying a minimum of 12 credits every semester
- In good standing with the Office of Community Standards
Rights and Responsibilities
- Completion of a background waiver.
- Must have lived in a residence hall (or similar experience)
for two semesters.
- Must be eligible to live in a University of Maine residence
hall.
- Completion of application process
- Attendance at information sessions and interviews
