Living/Learning Communities - Outdoor
Adventure
The Outdoor Adventure Living Learning
Community is designed for students who
enjoy participating in a wide range of
outdoor activities. The Residence
Life staff promotes outdoor activities
on campus and throughout the State of
Maine. This program is housed in
Kennebec Hall for upper-class students,
and in the FYRE in Androscoggin Hall for first
year students. The halls collaborate on
many of the activities as well as
promoting some that are specific to the
hall.
The Outdoor Adventure Community has a
close connection to the Maine Bound
program on campus which offers a wide
variety of outdoor activities and
features a climbing wall. Several trips
to off campus locations are coordinated
throughout the year for students at the
University of Maine. Outdoor Adventure
trips of interest to residents may be
planned to various destinations
throughout Maine.
