Article I. MEMBERSHIP

Section 1. The membership of the General Assembly (GA) shall consist of one voting representative from each residence
hall.

Section 2. The officers of ROC shall be ex-officio, non-voting members of the GA. The only exception to this shall be made for the Vice President of Programming, who shall have the right to vote if and only if they are a ROC Representative of a residence hall.

Section 3. All boards of the University of Maine General Student Government shall each have the right to elect one non-voting member to ROC.

Section 4. Non-voting, ex-officio members of ROC shall include the Director of Residence Life and Programs, all Residence Directors, Campus Coordinators/Directors, and Assistant Directors of Residence Life and Programs, as well as the President and Vice President of Student Government.
Article II. RULES OF ORDER

Section 1. Discussion and questions in the meetings will be open to nonmembers at the discretion of the executive officer.

Section 2. Financial resolutions need 2/3 of the voting members that are present in favor of the resolution in order to pass.

Section 3. Request for Funding must be sponsored by a voting member of ROC or the Executive Board.

Section 4. All meetings of the GA shall be run in accordance with Robert's Rules of Order Newly Revised, subject to such Bylaws and Rules of Order as the GA may adopt.

Section 5. Quorum shall consist of a majority of the voting membership.
Article III. MEETINGS

Section 1. Regular meetings shall be held weekly.

Section 2. Regular meetings shall be held on Monday.

Section 3. Regular meetings shall be held at 6:00 PM.

Section 4. Regular meetings shall be held at a place to be determined by the Vice President of ROC.
-
Section 5. All meetings of ROC shall be open to the public.
-
Section 6. Special meetings may be called by the Vice President of ROC, or by a petition signed by at least twenty percent of the voting membership.

Article IV. ATTENDANCE
Any ROC Representative who misses three consecutive ROC meetings without being excused by the ROC Vice President or sending a proxy shall be asked for their resignation by a two-thirds vote of the ROC Board. If a Representative is asked for their resignation, the residence hall they represent shall replace the individual.
Article V. COMMITTEES

Section 1. The ROC Programming Committee shall be composed of the Vice President of Programming, the ROC Vice President, and any interested member of the on-campus student body. This committee shall select the movies and any other programming to be played on the ROC Movie Channel, as well as other student and campus activities.

Section 2. Other temporary committees shall be formed to assist in ROC areas of concern and shall be made up of any member of the On-Campus Student Body.

Section 3. The GA will have the power to overrule any decision that a committee makes.
