Those interested are encouraged to contact me about their book topic, possible venue, and names of potential reviewers. One copy of the authorís book will be required. I will then work with Program Chair David Burke to schedule the panel.
Society members are also encouraged to recommend books for this purpose. Send inquiries to SACP President Bina Gupta at guptab@missouri.edu.

The series focuses on political, social, economic, cultural, demographic, environmental, and technological change and its related problems. Preference is given to comparative or regional studies that are conceptual in orientation and emphasize underlying processes and to works on a single country that address issues in a comparative or regional context. Although concerned with policy-relevant issues and written to be accessible to a relatively broad audience, books in the series are scholarly in character.
The Center invites prospective authors to send letters describing potential manuscripts to Eliza W. Johnston, Managing Editor, East-West Center, Publications Office, 1601 East-West Road, Honolulu, HI 96848-1601; email jonstoe@ewc.hawaii.edu.
