Dear Friend,

On behalf of the Indian Philosophical Congress, I extend you the most cordial and sincere invitation to attends its 74th Session, which will be held at Magadh University, Bodh Gaya (Bihar) on 28-30 December 1999 under the presidentship of Professor C. Ramaia.

The honourable Vice-chancellors are requested to send delegates from their Universities to the 74th Session of the Congress.

For accommodation and other matters relating to their stay and detailed programme of this session the desirous persons are requested to contact the Local Secretary by 30th October, 1999.

Membership Fees of the various categories are as follows:

Life Membership  - Rs. 800.00
Ordinary Membership  - Rs. 100.00
Associate Membership - Rs.   50.00  (for students only)

Membership fee should be sent to the Treasurer by an A/c payee Bank Draft (payable to the Treasurer, The Indian Philosophical Congress, at New Delhi). The Treasurer will issue membership receipts and the Railway Concession Forms.

Neatly typed full length papers to be presented should be sent to the Local Secretary along with the summaries latest by 30th October, 1999. The length of the articles should not be more than eight pages and that of summaries half a page in any case. The papers transgressing this limit will not be published. Full length articles and abstracts should be sent in duplicate along with the proof of Membership. this is a pre-requisite for acceptance of the paper.
