The University of Maine’s Office of Sexual Assault & Violence Prevention works to promote a safe community for everyone. We strive to reduce sexual assault, relationship violence, and stalking by encouraging healthy and consensual relationships.
Services are available to all free of charge.
The OSAVP provides workshops and presentations focusing on the areas of sexual violence, relationship abuse, and stalking to any group via request.
If you would like to speak with someone about these topics, set up a presentation, or become an advocate, call or stop by the Student Affairs office on the 3rd floor of the Memorial Union.
Prior to becoming the Office of Sexual Assault & Violence Prevention, The Safe Campus Project served the University of Maine community with funding from the Office on Violence Against Women, U.S. Department of Justice (Grant No. 2000-WA-VX-0012 and 2004-WA-AX-0002).
