Student Achievement Grant for
Education
(SAGE)
The SAGE Program is designed to support
students at UMaine who are either: students from low-income families,
first generation college students (whose parent has not earned a
bachelor's degree), and/or students with disabilities. SAGE is a
TRiO Student Support Services Program, funded by the U.S.
Department of Education.
Available Services
Services for SAGE students are designed
to address personal, academic, and financial needs. These include:
- Counseling Services
- Personal Counseling
- Academic Counseling
- Career Counseling
- Information Referral Services
(financial aid, housing, TANF/PAS)
