Instruments - Analytical

OI Analytical Model 1010 Wet Oxidation Total Organic Carbon Analyzer

Composed of:

  • Infrared CO2 detector
  • Model 1051 autosampler
  • WinTOC software (Version 4.0 and 5.2)

The Carbon Analyzer is an automated system for analyzing aqueous samples using a heat/persulfate oxidation method.

Current Applications:

  • Total or dissolved organic carbon
  • Total or dissolved inorganic carbon

Sample Matrices:

  • Fresh water
  • Wastewater
  • Salt water
