I want to be a lawyer
An
engineering degree provides a sound basis for earning a law degree, masters
in business administration (MBA), or other professional graduate degree. Engineers
are actively sought and recruited by law schools. Engineers tend to graduate
in the top of their law school class. Their engineering undergraduate degree
provides the necessary basic skills to handle complex, technical legal issues.
In some areas such as patent law, attorneys with engineering/science undergraduates
degrees are very common (if not a necessity). Patent lawyers tend to obtain
top starting salaries, often in the six-digit salary range.
