As an engineer, you can generally live anywhere you want. Jobs are available throughout the United States and most foreign countries. There is such a critical shortage of engineers in the United States that our nearest neighbor, Canada, exports the equivalent of an entire engineering college to the United States each year. The typical engineering senior gets approximately three unsolicited job offers.
