Engineers are nerds

Engineers enjoy their work. Few engineers leave the profession from dissatisfaction. Every day is an interesting challenge for most engineers. Engineers love the challenge. Engineers solve practical problems. Most enjoy attempting the impossible.

Engineers have a good life. They have good salaries. Jobs are plentiful so they live where they want. Engineers enjoy their time off. They play in team sports, raise families, build race cars, fish, hike, etc. They do whatever they want in their time off.

For these reasons, engineers can be labeled "nerds."
