Scholarship Deadline Extended to May 1, 2008! Please continue to send scholarship applications even though the application lists April 15 as the deadline!
Scholarship
Request Instructions
A
limited number of CAD Camp Scholarships are available. Scholarship
applications will be considered in the order received with priority given to older campers. Some scholarships
are designated for economically disadvantaged campers. Others
are designated for girls and racial or ethnic minority campers
without regard to need. Resident campers will be considered for
scholarships that require them to pay either a $50 registration
fee or half the usual registration fee. Campers do not have an
opportunity to apply for a specific scholarship amount. Scholarship
awards are made at the discretion of the CAD Camp Director to
comply with the intent of the donors.
Both
a parent or guardian and a school guidance counselor must fill
out the attached Scholarship Application and Registration - Scholarship
Request Camper forms. Please mail them by APRIL 15 (EXTENDED TO MAY 1!) to:

All
requested information is required. Incomplete scholarship application
forms and registration forms will not be considered.
Scholarship
decisions will be made after the closure of the application period.
Campers will be notified of scholarship awards no later than May
15. Once notified, the camper must send the remaining balance
of the camp registration fee by June 1 or a waiting list camper
will be awarded the scholarship. Campers not awarded scholarships
due to inadequate available funding will be wait listed or may
register for the full registration fee. We encourage campers to
seek additional scholarship funding through local foundations,
companies, or agencies.
