Construction Management Technology


CMT Overview

The Construction Management Technology program is a blend of civil engineering technology, construction, and business management. Starting with a basic grounding in mathematics and the physical sciences, the student is concurrently and progressively taught:

Plane Surveying  Construction Surveying
Structural Analysis and Design  Soils & Testing 
Construction Materials Concrete Testing
Civil Works Drafting 


Concurrently, the program then moves into technical construction topics such as:

Construction Law Construction Administration
Construction Documents Scheduling
Heavy highway Construction Building Methods and Equipment
Estimating Industrial Construction



Subsequently, the Construction Management Technology curriculum features business courses many of which are tailored to construction industry practices.
