Nick Acheson - I am a second year student in the Surveying Engineering Technology program at the University of Maine. Andy Brown - I am a Non-Traditional Part-Time student working on completing my B.S. degree in the Surveying Engineering Technology program. I have worked in the Emergency Medical Services field for over 15 years, including street medicine, dispatch communications and air medical flight logistics, navigation, mapping and GIS. I am an Air National Guardsmen veteran in avionics maintenance. Hobbies include amateur radio, geocaching, Appalachian Trail hiking, & meteorology. Courses of completion include: Plane & Construction Surveying, Practical GPS, photogrammetry, applied GIS, Practical Field Operations and AutoCADD LDD. Timothy Cote - I am a junior in the surveying engineering technology program at the University of Maine. I have some experience as a survey technician, and an abundance of autocad knowledge working with Land Desktop. For the past two summers I have worked for two different companies. Jimmy C. Courbron - I am a junior in the Surveying Engineering Technology program at the University of Maine. I am also pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering at the University. Jonathan Drew - I am a sophomore in the Surveying Engineering Technoloby program at the University of Maine. I worked last summer for the USDA Forest Service as a SCEP Surveyor Trainee, in Southern Oregon region 6, Rogue River - Siskiyou National Forest. Chad Finnemore - I am a third year survey engineering technology student. I graduated from Hartford High School in White River Junction, Vermont where I had some in-class experience with surveying. I also played hockey at Hartford and won two state titles. I spent this past summer working for a company back home in Vermont called Hathorn Surveys Inc. I did everything from boundary and TOPO surveys to map making and septic design. I’m extremely excited to be in this field of study and begin a career in surveying. Christopher E. Martin - I am a senior in the Surveying Engineering Technology program at the University of Maine. The summer before last I worked for the Bureau of Land Management in the Cadastral Survey Department. I worked in North Carolina, Virginia, and Wisconsin. I gained experience as a survey technician. This past summer I worked for Southern Vermont Engineers as an intern. I spent a lot of the summer doing boundary surveys, construction stakeout, topo, ALTA, and drafting on Civil 3D. I am looking for a summer job in Vermont or in the New England area which may lead to a permanent or long term position upon graduation.
