Once a Singer, Always a Singer

The University of Maine Singers is a select concert choir whose members come from all disceplines across campus, with nearly half from areas outside of music. Under the direction of Dr. Dennis Cox, the Singers tour for one week each spring, and abroad every four years. This year the Northeastern Tour will take them to New York City, while in May 2008 they will venture to Southern Italy for Europe Tour '08.

March 16, 2008 - Home again!
This year's Northeastern tour was a fantastic success. From Orono, ME to Kinnelon, NJ and all the places in between Singers made some memories to last a lifetime. We'd like to thank the hosts at each stop for making it all possible and we look forward to next year's tour. Keep your eyes on the site this week for Photos and more from last week!

The season isn't over yet, however. This weekend join us in Minsky Recital Hall for our annual Spring Show! We'll be doing two performances... help us pack both shows!

March 10, 2008 - Beginning of the Northeastern tour

February 28, 2008 - A New Site!
After much anticipation, the Singers website finally has a new look! Many new features will be added as the weeks pass including:

February 27, 2008 - Upcoming Northeastern Tour
As February comes to a close the Singers are gearing up for their annual spring Tour. This year they'll be travelling throughout the Northeast and winding up in New York City. For a complete itenerary and more information, click here.
