Amy's teaching and research interests
include the sociology of gender, social movements, work, families, and
research methods. Her current research includes a study of older
workers' harassment experiences and a study of childfree adults.
Professor Blackstone has also conducted
research on the workplace sexual harassment experiences of adolescent
and young adult workers and on how gender ideologies shape participation
in the breast cancer and anti-rape movements.
