Victoria is the Administrative
Assistant II for student support services. She started with the School in
August 2002. Victoria has been with the School of Social Work for the
past 9 years, and employed at UMaine for the last 23 years. Victoria came to
UMaine as an undergraduate and worked as an employee for over 15 years
before joining us here at the School of Social Work. Victoria worked as a
Food Manager in Campus Living's Dining Services for 13 years, and then
for over two years she was an Administrative Assistant with the Ethnic
Studies Program, working for the Directors of the Franco American
Studies Program and the Native American Studies Program.
Victoria provides a
variety of support services for BASW and MSW students and faculty
including: disseminating information, assisting students with
registration, maintaining files and advisor lists, providing
administrative assistance to both BASW and MSW admissions committees and
the Undergraduate Coordinator as well as both Field and Site
Coordinators. Victoria is also the primary contact person for the
School. Anyone who has had contact with Victoria over the past 9 years will be familiar with Victoria’s gracious greetings, sunny
presence at the School and vast knowledge of UMaine's academic policies
and procedures.
