Victoria is the administrative assistant for student support services.
She started with the school in August 2002. Although Victoria has been
with the School of Social Work only two years, she has been on campus
for a long time. Victoria came to UM as an undergraduate and then worked
as an employee for over 15 years before joining us at the School of Social
Work. Victoria worked as a Food Manager in Campus Living's Dining Services
for 13 years, and then for over two years she was an administrative assistant
with the Ethnic Studies Program, working for the Directors of the Franco
American Studies Program and the Native American Studies Program.
Victoria provides a variety of support services for BASW and MSW students
and faculty including: disseminating information, assisting students with
registration, maintaining files and advisor lists, providing administrative
assistance to both BASW and MSW admissions committees and the Undergraduate
Coordinator as well as both Field and Site Coordinators. Victoria is also
the primary contact person for the School. Anyone who has had contact
with Victoria over the past two years will be familiar with Victorias
gracious greetings and sunny presence at the School.
