Victoria
Kane
1983 B.A. Anthropology and Philosophy
1993 A.S. Business Management
Victoria is the Administrative
Assistant II for student support services. She started with the school in
August 2002. Victoria has been with the School of Social Work for the
past 9 years, and employed at UMaine for the last 23 years. Victoria came to
UMaine as an undergraduate and worked as an employee for over 15 years
before joining us at the School of Social Work. Victoria worked as a
Food Manager in Campus Living's Dining Services for 13 years, and then
for over two years she was an administrative assistant with the Ethnic
Studies Program, working for the Directors of the Franco American
Studies Program and the Native American Studies Program.
Victoria provides a variety of support
services for BASW and MSW students and faculty including: disseminating
information, assisting students with registration, maintaining files and
advisor lists, providing administrative assistance to both BASW and MSW
admissions committees and the Undergraduate Coordinator as well as both
Field and Site Coordinators. Victoria is also the primary contact person
for the School. Anyone who has had contact with Victoria over the past
two years will be familiar with Victoria's gracious greetings, sunny
presence at the School and vast knowledge of UMaine's academic policies
and procedures.
Robin Arnold
2011, B.S. in Earth Sciences
Robin Arnold is the Administrative Assistant II for
Finance. She started with the school in May, 2006 and employed at
UMaine for the past 25 years. Robin provides a variety of services for
the school that include event coordination, computer troubleshooting and
website development.
Elaine O'Leary
Elaine O'Leary is the Secretary for the
School of Social Work, Field Placement
Unit at the School of Social Work. Elaine came to the School in
2010 and is the contact person for Field Instructors, Field Liaisons and
Students
