Leadership Development Training
Developing the Leader Within

     The L.E.A.D. Training (Leadership Education And Development) is open to every student at The University of Maine, and is designed for the emerging leader or those students willing to engage in personal leadership development.  Participants will gain deeper insight and understanding of themselves and explore their potential as leaders.  Upon successful completion, and by invitation, leaders may then become members of the leadership staff in the wade center and The University of Maine.

 The next Leadership Class offering will be Spring 2008.  Students will be expected to:

  • Attend regular class each week

  • Actively participate in discussions, assignments and readings

  • Be willing to grow as individuals, and learn from other students and professional staff.

  • Participate in events and activities sponsored by the Wade Center for Student Leadership.

  • Try out new roles for themselves, including involvement with student organizations and campus events.
