Dr. Louis Hall

Dr. Louis Hall joined the University of Maine faculty in 1971, following graduation from the Masters in Music Education program at the University of Illinois. He completed his Doctorate there in 1979.

Dr. Hall serves as coordinator of music education, teaches oboe, woodwind pedagogy, small woodwind ensembles, conducting, woodwind literature and music education courses. He is active as oboe soloist, recitalist and ensemble member. He is currently oboist with the Trio Camerata (a Maine Touring Artists ensemble) and is English hornist with the Bangor Symphony.
