In collaboration with appropriate unions and Human Resources,
enhancing opportunities for professional development of employees
-Human Resources held campus-wide presentation of the Supervisory
Development Institute.
- Human Resources developed training efforts in the area of academic
leadership.
-Human Resources has been partnering with the Professional Employees
Advisory Council and the Classified Employees Advisory Council to
identify training and development interests.
-Safe Campus Project (Women's Resource Center) is coordinating training
intended for all university employees with regard to relationship abuse
and the workplace. Initiated in fall of '06 through fall '07,
approximately 900 university employees have attended a two-hour training
session.
-Regular training sessions for academic leadership (department chairs
and others who supervise faculty) initiated through the provost's
office, with leadership provided by WRC. First session offered in May
'07, second in January '08.
