Federal PLUS Loans

 Alternative Loans for Undergraduate and Graduate Students

The following link provides information about the loan programs offered by our Alternative Loan Lenders*.  Alternative Loans are credit-based loans that are potentially available to both Undergraduate and Graduate students.

  * The University of Maine conducted a comprehensive evaluation process to select the Lenders for the Stafford, PLUS and Alternative Loan programs.  Through this process, all respondents were rated on various factors and all of the selected lenders demonstrated superior customer service and other benefits.
