 Transfer Student Scholarship Programs

The University of Maine offers academic scholarships to highly qualified transfer candidates who apply for the fall term.  All transfer applicants for admission will automatically be considered for academic scholarships they are eligible for.  A separate application is not required.  Awards are competitive and awarded on a rolling basis.  First priority is given to students who are accepted early in the fall admission cycle.  Transfer students applying from the Maine Community College System will be considered for the scholarship designated for each of the Maine Community college System colleges.

Several Colleges and academic departments also offer academic scholarships to incoming transfer students.  Most do not require a separate application, however, please check with the individual colleges or departments to be sure.

All students who apply for financial aid are automatically considered for need-based scholarships awarded by the Office of Student Financial Aid.
