Maine Hello 2008 Student Volunteer Sign Up

This page is for students to register to help with the Maine Hello on Friday August 29, 2008. Please register as an individual student or as part of a UM student organization or club. We will work to assign individuals to halls they are familiar with and will work with organizations and clubs to assign you with other students in your organization. Depending on the number of students who sign up as a group we will work with you to create two or more teams as necessary. (Dinner for volunteers will be provided that evening. Details provided at a later date).   The only day that Maine Hello volunteers can move into their fall assignment is Wednesday August, 27, 2008 between the hours of 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm.   Student Organizations and Clubs are asked to provide an accurate count of participants, therefore we require that all members sign up individually.   All student volunteers agree to be at their assigned hall on Friday August 29th before their assigned shifts begin.   All students who move in early on Wednesday August 27, 2008 and do not participate in the Maine Hello will be billed the standard early arrival fee. This fee will be charged to your student bill.   Groups who sign up to participate in the Maine Hello and then do not participate will be charged a cancellation fee of $50.00. Group cancellations must be received by August 1, 2008 for the fee to be waived.
