Tanglewood, in partnership with University of Maine Cooperative Extension, has been getting the people of Maine outdoors and teaching them how we can all be respectful protectors of the Earth since 1982. Our programs touch hearts and minds; teaching values of teamwork, leadership, respect, and a love of the natural world—preparing our young people to be tomorrow's responsible citizens and community leaders. A connection to 4-H is not needed to enjoy our programs.

Fun-filled, discovery-oriented adventures in the outdoors -- our school programs encourage students to work cooperatively in group situations, allow them to develop life skills, a sense of community spirit and an awareness of their connection to the natural world.

Our two camp facilities are available to rent. Forest or ocean...choose an affordable, classic Maine setting for your gathering.

Every cent helps us connect children and families with our natural world & the excitement of caring for it. Donate today.
