Tanglewood, Lincolnville - Tanglewood Day Camp
Tanglewood’s day camp is a unique experience designed especially for four to eight year olds. 
Each morning begins with the discovery of a theme that will tug at imaginations as the natural world is explored. Throughout the day, campers connect with each other and their environment through games, exploration,songs and art. And what hot summer’s day would be complete without a refreshing dip in the Ducktrap River, or a water game just for the fun of it?
Day camp sessions usually run for five days, Monday to Friday, during the hours of 8:30am and 4:00pm.
One special session of day camp is for those aged 4-6. Programming will be tailored to meet the growing energy of this new group.
2-week Session
For families of those aged 7-9, we offer our 9-day session as an option. This “2-week” session offers extended adventures, group projects, plus field day fun on “Tanglewoodstock” and an overnight camp out. Campers form strong bonds with other kids and staff over the 9 days making this session one you don’t want to miss.
Flexible drop off and pick up times
At the request of parents, we are pleased to offer flexible drop-off and pick-up times. At no additional charge, parents may drop campers off:
- Tues-Fri between 7:30 and 8:30 in the morning (there is no early drop off on Monday morning!)
- Pick up between 4:00 and 5:00 Mon-Thurs in the afternoon. Friday pick up will be at 3:00 pm.
If you are arriving before 8:30, please drop off campers at the Dining Hall; after 8:30 campers can be dropped off at Big Pine Lodge.
Pick up is at Big Pine Lodge until 4:15. After 4:15, you may pick up your camper at the Dining Hall.
During these extended hours, campers can play field games, color, draw, or read books in the shade with their new camp friends; afternoon snacks are provided.
