In keeping with our original mandate and in response to the need for an institutional home for course- and program-level assessment at UMaine, we are pleased to announce our new name effective April 2010. We are now the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Assessment (CETA).

Our Mission:

To foster excellence in teaching and learning at the University of Maine.

The Center was established in 1999 to promote the continuing improvement in the quality of teaching and learning at the University of Maine. The Center reports to the Division of Lifelong Learning and is advised by a committee of faculty, staff, and students.
