Eat Well Program
A free and confidential nutrition education program that is fun, educational, and very tasty!

Who can benefit from Eat Well?
Families and seniors who are on Food Stamps or who are eligible to receive food stamps and limited income families.

How does Eat Well happen?
Nutrition associates teach in the home (individual home visits) or in small groups by appointment.

When is Eat Well offered?
This program is offered all year long. You can enroll any time.

How do I enroll?
Simply call the UMaine Extension Penobscot County Office at 942-7396 or 1-800-287-1485 (in Maine) and ask to speak to a Nutrition Associate.

Our Nutrition Associates:

  • Gail Lane: Gail teaches in Bangor, Orrington, Holden, Eddington, Brewer, and surrounding areas.

  • Pam Fuller: Pam teaches in the Katahdin region, and surrounding areas.

  • Brooke Fogg-Wolfe: Brooke teaches in the Old Town, Orono, Bradley, Milford, Greenbush, and surrounding areas.
