Food and Nutrition -

Training sessions and public programs on food topics are presented to many audiences. The most common topics are the Food Pyramid; Reading the New Food Label; Reducing Fat in the Diet; Healthy Snacks for Children; Altering Recipes; and Making Homemade Master Mixes.

Cooking For A Crowd -

A Food Safety Program for Quantity Cooks designed for volunteers who prepare, serve or handle food at any event. This two-part workshop will cover the following food safety concerns:

  1. Planning and Purchasing
  2. Storing Food Supplies
  3. Preparing Food
  4. Transporting, Storing and Serving Cooked Food
  5. Handling Leftovers

You will receive a packet of resources for later use.
