Hill Fireworm
Order: Lepidoptera || Family: Tortricidae
Tulsa (=Tlascala) finitella

This fireworm only goes through one generation per year, as compared with the black-headed fireworm which goes through two if not three generations per year.  So far, only one larva has been found--on 6/20/06--on any Maine commercial cranberry bed, but whereas fireworm is such a patchy insect, its numbers could be more prevalent than that single, lone discovery in 2006 might suggest.
