University of Maine Cooperative Extension
Potato Program
The Potato Program team at the University of Maine Cooperative Extension provides information on potato and rotation crop production. This page is for obtaining Certified Crop Advisor recertification credits.
It is possible to receive Certified Crop Advisor recertification credits for these presentations. As each presentation is approximately a half hour, each presentation is worth one half credit. Additionally, a test must be passed with a minimum of 80 percent correct answers on each presentation. While there is no charge for viewing this information, there is charge ($5.00) for taking each test (15 questions), whether the tests are passed or not.
View a presentation and when you are ready to take the test (15 questions), click on the link associated with the presentation. You will be directed to a University of Maine Publications Catalog site where you can pay for the test. When you have paid for the test, your information is recorded at the publication's office, which in turn sends the information to me. After which I will send you a link and a password to take the on-line test. Bear in mind that this happens during regular business hours. I will return the results to you. I am trying for a fast (1 business day) turn around. However, there are circumstances that would delay this. Should the December 31 expiration date for licenses occur between paying for and taking the test, the program will not accept the credit.
