What:       Summer 4-H Celebration

·        Note: 4-Hers are encouraged to bring a hands on project or demonstration.  This is optional, but think about stretching yourself!

 

When:       Saturday, June 16, 11 am - 3:00 pm

 

Where:     Homestead-by-the-River Family Campground, Saco

                (Directions are on the other side of this flyer)

 

Why:         To offer…

·        4-H members a chance to display 4-H projects

·        Families and clubs a fun-filled day at a beautiful setting on the Saco River

·        The public a chance to learn more about 4-H

 

Cost:          There is no cost to 4-H members and families. 

Barbecue lunch will be provided at no cost.                     

 

Other Information:

4-H Clubs and Club members, please bring along projects you are currently working on so they may be displayed publicly.  Tables will be available for displaying individual and club projects.  Any Hands on projects you can bring would be great.

Directions to Home-by-the-River Family Campground and

4-H Summer Celebration

 

From I95/Maine Turnpike, take Saco Exit 36 (formally exit 5)
Go through the toll booth for Exit 36 (Exit 5) and take your first exit to the Industrial Park Road. As you come down the ramp, you will come to a traffic light. Take a left onto Industrial Park Road. At the set of lights, take a right onto North Street/Route 112. Follow Route 112 for 2.6 miles. At the end of a long white fence on your left, take a left onto Louden Road. Follow Louden Road until you come to a stop sign. At the stop sign, take a right onto Route 5. As you come down the hill and over the Saco River bridge, we are the first driveway on the right.

 

From Sanford

Take Route 5 toward Saco. The campground is located on the left just before the Saco Rover bridge (before Louden Rd).  There is a large sign “Homestead Campground”.
