York County Vegetable Growers

Vegetable and small fruit farmers began meeting informally in 2002, working with York County Extension Educator, Frank Wertheim, to learn from each other, see equipment and farm practices in action, and learn researched based information from University of Maine Cooperative Extension and farm industry specialists. 

There is no better way to learn than by visiting with fellow farmers on their farms, talk informally and ask questions.

Note: This group is for commercial farmers, or those interested in farming for profit.
